“Being in the personal development field I’m crystal clear on just how important it is to focus our efforts developing a sense of passion, purpose, and power in our children. It is easy for this focus to get lost in the shuffle of “adult life”, but thankfully, Patrick has put together programs that make it fun and easy to empower children. Patrick is an absolute master at this, and his programs are excellent. I highly recommend his work to anyone with children or children in their lives!” Bob Doyle, Author, Speaker, and featured teacher in The Secret. http://www.wealthbeyondreason.com/
“I believe that the work Patrick is doing with An Exercise in Happiness is profound and important work. I have always believed that if we could change the way adults interact with children we could significantly if not completely reduce the suffering of adults. I believe Patrick’s work has the potential to do this.” Shelly Lefkoe, co-author of Chicken Soup for the Effective Parents Soul and President Possibilities of Parenting Center (Division of the Lefkoe Institute) http://www.improveyourparenting.com

I believe that the work Patrick is doing with Kids Can Do Anything is profound and important work. Having worked with people who are stuck in life for 23 years I have always believed that if we could change the way adults interact with children we could significantly if not completely reduce the suffering of adults. I believe Patrick’s work has the potential to do this. If kids grow up with emotional strength, their lives’ will be more successful and happier ones. If children have positive interactions with adults, their beliefs about themselves and life will be more positive. I don’t know of a more important outcome than that.

We’re excited to offer the program to your kids. It’s a simple program that has the potential to do a great deal for our students. When I first heard about this program I was thrilled, because it closely aligns with our strategic plan and objectives of having students set long and short-term goals, while at the same time helping them to improve their self-esteem and self-confidence.

One girl made her goal that she would be kind to her friends because she told all of us that sometimes she knows that she is mean. I told her how emotionally brave she was to share and I believed that her awareness and intention would fuel a change. Her friends agreed the day had gone well. I have always taken time to guide my students in the affective realm and I love the concrete tool you have shared with us. We had such a great discussion yesterday, and so many people shared.
I thought I had already created a climate of well-being with my students and I am thrilled at the prospects of what our future holds as we do this important work together. I am grateful that we are your first school.
